Philosophical definition: the belief that the parts of something are intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.

Medical definition: treatment of the whole person, taking into account mental and social factors, rather than just the symptoms of a disease.

This webpage has been developed as a patient information resource - not only to provide information on some neurosurgical conditions that I commonly manage and what some of the treatments may look like but information, resources and hopefully some inspiration that may help you optimise your physical and mental health alongside your neurosurgical condition. While I may be consulting you at a point of disease I hope that together we can work to re-set you to a place of holistic heath and wellbeing and use this as an opportunity to re-set.
